Work from this period is loosely arranged around the title "heart loot and other small stories,"
Using abstraction and the process of painting as a metaphor for how we experience life and the interconnections of human beings (both to one another and to the world at large), these paintings tells stories that don't have easy words and often ambiguous conclusions.
Interested in the idea that one can strip experiences and stories to an essence that is part personal, part metaphor, part stand in for the universal themes (mostly of love and romance and everything that goes along with that), This group of paintings draws on suggestion to drive a larger narrative.
